Tommy Trouble joined the ECWA a little over 2 years ago and has been steadily climbing the ladder of success and hitting his stride in the squared circle. For the first year or so he was given lesser roles on the already packed roster of stars, but that began to change when he secured the services of ECWA’s resident fitness coach, Jim Shorts. Under the guidance of Shorts, Trouble started making waves on the roster and his peers and the fans started to take notice. One other noticeable item was the abuse he was taking at the hands of Jim Shorts, who never let him forget that it was he who built his rise to stardom. After months of abuse and taunting, Tommy Trouble broke away from Jim Shorts. His popularity soared almost over night when Trouble, representing the USA defeated Jim Shorts’ top protégé, Kermon the Crazy German. The fans instantly took a liking to Trouble’s new American Bad Boy attitude and that was evident when over 50 fans signed up to carry the flag for Trouble in his match against Kermon. Tommy Trouble who is a tremendous performer has also taken a liking to the legions of ECWA faithful fans. There seems to be a growing bond between America’s Bad Boy Tommy Trouble and the ECWA fan base. It looks as though this young man has finally broken out of the pack and we look for greater things from him over the months ahead. I had the opportunity to ask him several questions. How long have you been in wrestling? 7 Years What made you want to get into wrestling? I watched wrestling from a young age, and my dad was always a fan and still is. The larger then life characters amazed me and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. When did you join the ECWA? Jan. 2006 How did you joining the ECWA come about? Fred Sampson referred me to Jim Kettner. I started coming to the shows to help out as much as I could, I gave Jim a tape of my work and the rest is history. What do you like about the ECWA? Everyone in the ECWA is there to help each other. It's by far the best locker room I've ever been in. It's a very relaxed setting and very easy to have fun in. The fan's are very loyal and really take time out to be at every show. What do you think about the ECWA fans? They are extremely loyal to each and every one of us. I always see the same faces month after month, its an honor to perform to such a good audience. What have been your favorite ECWA moments? The 5 way match between El' Troubl, MattLogan, Bryan Logan, Rob Eckos and Billy Bax. That El' Trouble is such a stunning performer. How did the Tommy Trouble character come about? I was young when I started wrestling, so Trouble sounded about right for a little 14 year old kid. What is the Tommy Trouble character all about? My real life personality amped up and shown to a large audience. Your thoughts on the current state of the wrestling business? I wish wrestling today was as popular and in demand as it once was.
