To say Rob Eckos is a major player in the ECWA is an understatement. He is 1/2 of the Valedictorians (along with Billy Bax), and holds the distinction of being the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in the promotions history ever to hold those titles. He is an accomplished singles wrestler as well and his skills doing promo work is fantastic. He was inducted into the ECWA Hall of Fame on December 2, 2006. His feuding with his younger brother Dan in the ECWA during the past year has caused Rob to up his game in the squared circle like never before. His work is crisp and his attitude is aggressive. Whether he is performing in singles competition, tag team warfare or doing promo work, the ECWA fans are assured that they are watching one of the greatest performers to come through the new generation ranks of the promotion. I had the opportunity to sit down with Rob Eckos and pose several questions to him. I hope you enjoy!

How long have you been in wrestling? 6 years
What made you want to get into wrestling? Have always like it since I was
young, knew I was put here to do this since a young age...
When did you join the ECWA? July 02
How did you joining the ECWA come about? I sent a tape to Jim Kettner
and also had a few good words put into him from my friend George (RIP) who is
originally who told me the ECWA is the place to be if I want to get anywhere in
wrestling.
What do you like about the ECWA? The atmosphere is awesome, the fans are
great, and it is the best locker room for sure..
What do you think about the ECWA fans? They are very loyal to the
company and follow everything very closely.
What have been your favorite ECWA moments? Winning the tag team titles
w/Bax, winning the tag team titles for a second time with Bax, being inducted
into the ECWA Hall of Fame, TLC match with the SAT's.
How did the Valedictorian character come about? Jim Kettner had me and
Bax teaming together and we needed something, he called us with the idea, we
loved it........the rest is history..
What is the Valedictorian-Rob Eckos character all about? It's about me
being smart, I am very smart, the character shows it...
Your thoughts on the current state of the wrestling business? Wish more
people loved wrestling...

What sports do you like to play? Basketball or baseball w/ friends is

What hobbies do you have? Working out, hanging out with my girlfriend,
and I go to school full time for physical education and am trying to finish that
up...
What do you do in your spare time? Workout, anything with my girlfriend
(the movies, dinner, a club)...
What kind of work outside wrestling to you do? Fulltime student and work
at a gym...
Who have been your biggest inspirations? Professionally I would like to
go where everyone else would like to go, the WWE, its a dream I want to come
true, and think will come true....
